j. jonah jameson.
The editor of the Daily Bugle, and the leading
voice of the media, it's up to Johan Jameson
just what news is fit to print. He's a good
source of employment, if you can write or
snap pictures, and he's also a veritable
source of information regarding the history
of the city and current and non-current
events. Just don't ask about the time he
went missing in 1933, he doesn't like that
subject one bit, and be cautious that not
everything in print may be the 100%
honest truth...


felicia hardy.
The proprietor of the Black Cat Speakeasy
is not only a friendly face, but an easy con-
versationalist, as well. Felicia is a good
voice of the more personal side of the city,
and she can tell you the places to go and
even open doors that alone, you can't. But
this may not come easy, as she's not as
fast to trust after losing Ben Urich, who
had been her boyfriend. There are things
about her only Spider-man knows...




ben urich✝.
Ben Urich, otherwise known as the Spider,
was a reporter, a good friend of Peter Parker,
and once-boyfriend to Miss Hardy. However,
he was also prone to heavy substance abuse,
leaving him a cynical man, jaded before his time.
Once on the Goblin's payroll, he left the employ
of Norman Osborn with more than enough
evidence to finally put the Goblin behind bars,
but was murdered before he could
post it...




captain george stacy.
Appointed Chief of Police in 1934, Captain
Stacy, many will tell you, is one of the last
honest officers on the Force. Truly an ins-
piration to those who admire justice, and
he is always looking for aspiring police or
detectives to take under his wing. He has
a great deal of information regarding the
city's state of crime, much of which is not
available to the public, especially not the
Bugle.




batman.
More Urban Legend than man, no one
is quite sure if the Bat-Man actually exists,
or if he's just a figment of a few over-active
imaginations. Mostly spotted at night and
cloaked in shadows, citizens of New York
either fear him or are in awe of him, and
it has not yet been determined whether
he is a force for justice or for anarchy.
The police and media suspect the latter.







charles xavier.
Charles Xavier is an enigma to the
people he cares for in the Riker's
Island prison. He formerly ran the
X-Men, before being put into prison
for the deeds his followers allegedly
committed. The man is an enigma,
wrapped in mystery, but if you have a
conversation with him, you may find
that he knows more than he lets on,
especially regarding your memories...




reed richards.
Scientist Reed Richards, known to some
as Mister Fantastic, is a genius of physics,
biology, chemistry, and mechanical/aero/
electrical engineering. He possesses means
to travel from universe to universe, and is
in fact, from a different New York... one
that resides in the year 2009...







mephisto.
Mephisto is a demon lord, and runs a realm
often called Hell or Hades. While he is not either
the Christian Devil or Hades himself, he does rule
over a realm that is quite similar to these. Some
events have caused him to tighten what grip he has
on the world, and you may find that some
circumstances will cause you to have words
with the demon lord. Mephisto is always willing
to bargain for a soul or use his magics towards a
purpose if the price is right.

Especially if you want to stay alive...



dr. strange.
Dr. Stephen Strange was once a surgeon,
and the story goes that he enlisted into the
army during the Great War, but that a bomb
went off, and he lost the use of his hands.

However, recently Strange has reappeared,
and certainly knows more than he lets on.
He may be willing to aid you, but his lips
are sealed shut on some mysteries...
