♦ New York, New York; it's a hell of a town. If you want to get anywhere, you better make sure you know where you're going -- or you get more out of your evening stroll than you bargained for. Places of interest, places to stay away from, and places that just take up space -- what's your pleasure?
THE DAILY BUGLE ✖
The Daily Bugle: the city's chief source of news besides the Times. Those in the
know may tell you about the Bugle's Editor-in-Chief, Jonah Jameson... returning
to his post after disappearing for reasons undisclosed. Those even further in the
know may tell you the headlines aren't always as truthful as they may appear...
but since the death of the mobster, the Goblin, this seems to have improved...
In the market for 3 photographers and 3 reporters -- but be wary of
what you investigate. ♠
THE BLACK CAT ✖
If you're looking for a fun time, the Black Cat is the place for you; drinks,
music, people -- it's a good place to go to unwind from the drag of the day, to meet
friendly faces, or even to meet and chat in a private booth in the back. The owner, a
miss Felicia Hardy, will greet you with a smile and a friendly word, but there's a sad-
ness behind those eyes. This woman may know more than what she says... ♠
THE HELLFIRE CLUB ✖

Envy, Sloth, Lust, Pride, Greed, Gluttony, and Wrath. The Hellfire Club, formerly owned
by one Sebastian Shaw, was the hive for every sin and temptation known to man. It was
a favorite for the mob, gangsters, and even the police. There are many rumors surrounding
the death of Shaw, but nothing concrete has surfaced at this time. During it's high point,
if one were to walk into the Hellfire Club, nearly every powerful member of New York would
be found, gallivanting and making connections. Money (mostly dirty) was exchanged nightly,
and Shaw's Empire stretched almost as far as that of Norman Osborn, but with his death,
his empire crumbled, and now the Hellfire Club is without an owner, and without direction.
At the moment, the Hellfire Club is under lock-down with a pending investigation into the
murder of those inside. Perhaps it is only rumor, but some whisper that the murder of
Shaw has something to do with the group known as the X-Men. ♠
THE CREOLE CLUB ✖
The Creole club is located in Harlem. Here you will find any number
of card games, ways to gamble, booze, and even a few pretty faces,
if you're into that sort of thing. Formerly owned by Remy Le Beau,
before he was brutally murdered.
The club highlights the style and color of New Orleans, and while
it's under new management, little has changed since the new owner
took over.. ♠
(interior)
KITTY KAT CLUB ✖
The Kitty Kat Club is owned by one Selina Kyle-Wayne. Here the
dancers will tease your fancy, and you will always find a good time
if you're lucky to head to the gambling ring in the back. The rich and
famous of the Gotham area are often found at this club, but if you
don't follow the rules, you're sure to find yourself kicked out. ♠
(interior)
SAMMY'S BILLIARDS ACADEMY ✖
If you're looking for billiards or a relaxing night with the crew, Sammy's
is the place to go. Sammy isn't often seen around anymore, and after the
vigilante known as the Daredevil managed to bust a few heads in,
things have quieted down considerably. However, the usuals can still
be found, and most nights one can hear a few whispers from Fisk's men
who come in for a pint and a few rounds of pool. ♠
ANGEL'S DINER ✖
If you ever need a warm cup of coffee, a bourbon, a piece of pie, or
just a place to come in out of the cold, Angel's Diner is open all hours.
It's a good place to meet, fairly untouched by the criminal circuit;
although don't be surprised if the odd gangster or crooked cop comes
in for a fresh piece of Devil's Food Cake.
Strangely enough, no one seems to have ever met the owner, Angel,
face to face. ♠
GILOOLY'S ✖
Gilooly's is one of the few nicer places you can find in Hell's kitchen.
Once owned by the crime-lord Halloran, it has been taken over by Fisk
after Halloran was murdered by the Bull's Eye Killer. The bar is always
stocked, and the food is superb, and the waiters may be willing to loosen
their lips for a good tip. If you are looking for Fisk and his goons, then
Gilooly's is the place to go.♠
BOWERY WELFARE CENTER✖
If you can't find work in New York, you're going to find yourself homeless
rather fast -- apartments don't run cheaply, especially in the mob-run
apartment houses. Bowery Welfare will give you shelter and a warm meal,
but don't take advantage of this kind organization.
Currently hiring, although the wages may be rather low. Volunteers are
welcome with open arms, and rumors run rampant among the derelicts. ♠
OSBORN ENTERPRISES✖
For many weeks after the Goblin's death, the Osborn Enterprises building
sat empty, a tomb haunted by the crimes committed by its inhabitants.
Some claim to have seen shadows move by the windows, lights turn on,
as if there is a person still inside.
Osborn Enterprises was a lustrous, entrepreneurial business; Norman
Osborn, a.k.a. the Goblin, was a brilliant if not ruthless man who made
charity and progress his business. His public deeds are honorable, but
his crimes remain underground, as not a scrap of proof has ever been
released or found against him... unless one knows where to look.
It's been since re-opened, so you'll see workers entering and leaving
the premises. .♠
THE CITY MORGUE✖
An eerie place that you definitely don't want to visit after night falls; at
least not without a reliable escort. Still in operation, although workers
never seem to be seen leaving. Whatever you do, don't peer under
the sheets and don't disturb the ghouls that wonder the corridors. ♠
CALVARY CEMETERY✖
An ordinary cemetery, located in Queens. If you come to
Calvary, you may find the tombstone of reporter Ben Urich,
or that of Ben Parker. Occasionally flowers are placed upon
each; sometimes, perhaps, a message. You are welcome to
leave flowers, and -- you may find a few names from your
own past buried here, among theblank stones... ♠
CHURCH OF ST. FRANCIS✖
The Church of St. Francis is where people go when they need
something more. Reverend Howlett is perfectly willing to preach
of Fire and Brimstone, but he will also give you a listen if you need
it. Rumor has it that his son and he have become estranged, and
this has lowered his standing in the city's upper circles considerably. ♠
ST. LAWRENCE CATHEDRAL✖
St. Lawrence Cathedral is located in Hell's Kitchen. While the local priest
may hear some very telling confessions, he won't be willing to share unless
you can find some dirt on him.
However, if you need to give a confession, he's always willing to listen,
and your secrets are safe with him, but be careful what you ask,
especially if it pertains to the names Halloran or Fisk... ♠
THE SANCTUM SANCTORUM✖
The small coffee shop in Greenwich Village is as derelict as they
come. The signs say that the coffee shop will eventually be restored,
but nobody ever seems to notice that it has remained this way for
years.
Entering this shop is only an honor reserved to the most worthy
or people. Who knows what mysteries will be unraveled, or who
you will find, once you step into the Sanctum Sanctorum... ♠
THE FISK ESTATE✖
If you are lucky enough, and can secure a visit with Wilson Fisk,
you have been given a great honor. Don't disrespect the Kingpin,
and if you say the right words, he may be able to provide you
with some information you may need. ♠
(interior 1, 2)
JAMES GORDON PRIVATE INVESTIGATION✖
If you need someone to look into an issue, then James Gordon is the man
to see. He may be a drunk, and the scars from the Great War still hang over
his head, but when a job needs doing, he's the man to speak with. Located
in Gotham, this P.I. was formerly a cop before his drinking got the better of
him, but don't let this information deter you or stop you from employing him!
He is, after all, very good at what he does, so if you need some help along the
way, Jim Gordon may uncover some interesting facts for you... ♠
FOGGY NELSON PRIVATE INVESTIGATION✖
Foggy Nelson doesn't seem like much, but when you need the truth, he's the
guy to go to. His office is located in Hell's Kitchen, so be careful when you try
to find him. Nobody knows how he finds things out, but his blind partner is
always around, and some say he may have other activities during
non-business hours... ♠
FAGAN'S✖
If you're looking to hear something from the Brotherhood, then
Fagan's is the place to go. While it is considered a cop bar, you
won't find Captain Stacy drinking here -- many of the members
of Magus's Brotherhood spend their off-hours at Fagan's. If you
aren't a member, however, you may find lips tight, and dirty looks
headed your way.
Be careful if you want to enter this establishment, for Eric Magus
isn't the nicest of men to outsiders. ♠
XAVIER SCHOOL✖
This abandoned mansion was once the home of the Xavier School
for Exceptionally Wayward Youngsters. However, one too many deeds
were committed by the "X-Men", as they are called, and Charles Xavier
was imprisoned at Riker's Island. Now the building appears to be
abandoned, but if you head out there at night, you may hear a hushed
whisper, or the scraping of feet. Who knows what people might be returning
to the home of the X-men?
Investigations have been made into the building, but nothing has ever
been found except for the notes of the students, empty beds, and
perhaps the occasional stirring rat... ♠
CENTRAL PARK✖
A fun place to visit when the weather is nice. The water is clean,
and the park itself is safe just so long as you don't venture in at
night. You never know who's out and about during the midnight
hours. ♠
STARK INDUSTRIES✖
Stark Industries. The name is a dynasty unto New York. Howard
Stark Sr. began the company when he immigrated to New York in
the mid 1800s during the Industrial Revolution, and Howard Stark Jr.
continued the legacy, and it has now fallen to the one and only Tony
Stark.
The company researches weapons, and you won't be surprised to
see a Stark model gun used by any of the derelicts and mobsters
in the city. The connections the company has run deep into New York.
Stark Industries is currently hiring laborers and desk jockeys, and who
knows what connections you will make when you work with the upper-crust
on a daily basis... ♠
TIMES SQUARE✖
Times Square is always aglow with lights and this is
where the city truly "never sleeps". If you're looking to
go out on a date, there's no better place to take your
sweetheart.
Be forewarned, however. Everyone comes to Times
Square, and you never know what you're going to
witness when you come here. ♠
RIKER'S ISLAND PRISON✖
Crime doesn’t pay all the time, especially when one doesn’t play
along with the organized crime within the city. Those who fall into
Riker’s Island are the lowest of the low, the uncontrollable, the
sociopaths, those who cannot and refuse to be led by anyone
other than themselves. Be careful, if you earn the ire of the right
groups, you may find yourself wrongfully imprisoned.
There is a beacon of hope, however. Within Riker’s Island is
Charles Xavier, who may be able to help you out…♠
WELFARE PENITENTIARY✖
This abandoned Penitentiary isn't some place anyone should
wish to go at night. Every manner of lowlife and dealer frequents
the area surrounding the building, but not even they have the
gusto to enter. It is not public knowledge, but within the walls
reside the X-Men, who use this area as their base of
operations... ♠
THE "TORTURE HOUSE"✖
An nondescript, abandoned building in the meatpacking district.
Urich wrote about this building, his files will tell you all about
them... but you won't know it from any other building unless
you know what you're looking for. The files have been hidden,
and no one else has read them besides Urich and Spider-man.
Danger may follow those who wander here, as there are rumors
one of the Goblin's men is haunting the corridors. ♠
(interior)
PETER'S STUDY✖
A small, hidden away storage closet in a building of undisclosed
location. Within it are many files Peter Parker took from Urich's
apartment, ones that may help you learn a thing or two about the
gangland crimes that have gone covered up. Only Parker knows the
location of this room, but you may be led there eventually... ♠
➷ unless you're shown the way...
FENIAN'S PUB✖
The smell and sounds of the trainyard don't exactly make Fenian's
look or sound inviting, but the staff here is always willing to keep you
going well into the night. They service in not only the alcoholic
tastes, but also the illegal and shady dealings. Smuggled goods
are also exchanged, due to the close proximity to the trainyard, and
Perhaps you may catch someone you didn't expect exchanging
a good or service. ♠
HAMMOND MEMORIAL SHIPYARD✖
Hammond Memorial Shipyard is the place to go to smell the sea,
or maybe just work the docks if you have the build for it. Ships
come and go all day, and the goods shipped in range from parts,
to weapons, to food, and even immigrants. Watch out, however.
You may hear the rantings from the local drunk, who stumbles through
the shipyard during all hours of the evening. Some say he was once
a comrade of Hammond, for whom the shipyard is named during the
Great War, but most consider him a harmless drunk. ♠
THE SEWERS✖
The sewers are a filthy, rat infested place to go, and dangerous, too.
The "torture house" sits right above a large entrance, and they can,
at least, serve as a hiding place or an escape route in a pinch. But
be warned, they're not the safest place to be if you can't defend
yourself... and not just from rats. ♠
ABANDONED CIRCUS✖
No one can remember who owned this circus, or when it
operated, just that it's been abandonded for at least the last
ten years. Located several miles out of the city, some have
speculated it was from here that the Goblin recruited his
gangs, although no evidence has been found to link nor
confirm these rumors. Regardless, be wary about coming
here. It may hold answers if you know where to look, but
it also draws the wrong kind of spectators who may still
call it home... ♠

that you are seeking answers for. As a reporter he has seen a lot of things, the dark
face of the city, and the Goblin's crimes first-hand. Two people have the keys, but
getting them to do so may not be easy. Even harder will be getting information
without putting yourself in danger. You never know who's watching. ♠

Felicia Hardy, owner of the Black Cat Speakeasy, knows many things herself she
isn't telling. If you make friends with her she may invite you upstairs into her home,
but you're advised not to take anything or trip on her cats, or else you'll be shown
the door immediately. Occasionally, Peter Parker may be found here. ♠
peter parker's apartment;
Peter Parker hasn't been seen much since the events of
1933, but sometimes he may still be living in his
apartment, watching the streets with a keen eye. He has
photographs, files from Urich's apartment, and stories to
tell, but only if you prove a trustworthy confidant... and if
you can find him. ♠

felicia hardy's apartment;
Felicia Hardy, owner of the Black Cat Speakeasy, knows many things herself she isn't telling. If you make friends with her she may invite you upstairs into her home,
but you're advised not to take anything or trip on her cats, or else you'll be shown
the door immediately. Occasionally, Peter Parker may be found here. ♠
peter parker's apartment;
Peter Parker hasn't been seen much since the events of1933, but sometimes he may still be living in his
apartment, watching the streets with a keen eye. He has
photographs, files from Urich's apartment, and stories to
tell, but only if you prove a trustworthy confidant... and if
you can find him. ♠
